The Rules Change at 40
As we age, our bodies break down. Starting at 40, we lose muscle, about 1% per year. As early as 35, we see hardening of the tendons. Our fight changes. Injuries threaten participation, interfere with training, last forever, and just suck. Fitness and activity now come at a cost. The years of training without stretching have created substantial damage and we are now experiencing its effect. Fortunately, pliability can be regained, even well into the eighties, and we have a pretty good idea of how to get back on track.
Hip Stretch – Freedom to move
The AgilCore Frame is the first real tool for targeting and applying leveraged force to the deep muscles throughout the hip cradle. By adjusting foot position, angle of approach, and dynamic stretching, every muscle within the hip complex can be reached and engaged. The above images provide a basic understanding of the range of engagement. Video Training
Vertical Plank Style. The end of floor work
Vertical Plank style is an evolution of core work. It replaces the dreaded floor work while retaining its effectiveness by establishing a scaled core workout using balance and control to determine engagement levels. It further improves upon the plank by simplifying and expanding dynamic components and integrating stretching. The above images capture a variety of moves that can be choreographed into a workout routine. Proper core engagement is imperative. video training
Freedom Through a Simple Frame
AgilCore uses physics to make stretching, strength training, and balance training simple. Its design enables users to customize their experience. Simply put, it meets you where you are, does what you ask, and remains true. Built to provide a secure experience, its weight provides strength work, its design allows scaled workouts, and its portability removes barriers.
Functional training is the magic behind the frame, but the design creates possibilities of functional movement never before reached; Vertical Plank Style is a prime example. The unique frame design provides balance and stability, yet promotes dynamic scaled movement, torque engagement, and encourages creative choreography.
AgilCore elevates the importance of flexibility by providing the first real tool for accomplishing ROM gains. Its design introduces leverage, a means to apply force to hard to reach muscles. The muscles in the hip often lose pliability creating stiffness in bending, posture issues, and pain. AgilCore is the first solution for stretching and restoring pliability to each and every muscle in that region. Restoration of pliability in the hip region results in balance, recovery, bend capacity, and simply, freedom.
AgilCore uses leverage to increase force. Its unique frame design and manageable weight (25 lbs) creates the ability to reach most muscles, and provide a stretch force along its length. Having the ability to be used in multiple positions enables this benefit. Its dynamic nature allows users to find challenging exercises in seemingly comfortable and sensible postures.
Further value is seen in its ability to provide stable hand holds at varied heights (2″, 9″, 20″ and 26″) to provide option for deconditioned athletes to engage again in fitness. Can’t do a floor push-up? Try it at 26″ and work your way down. These hand holds work great for planks, push-ups, burpees, mtn. climbers, stretching, step work, and many other boot camp strategies.
Lastly, it is portable, so taking it to the beach or the park, or wherever you love to be, helps bring joy to your workouts.
We focus on agility first, then build strength and endurance.
Agility resets posture, empowers movement, and restores the confidence to engage.
